Assessing risk of bias in non-randomized studies of interventions: introduction to the ROBINS-I tool

In this workshop we will introduce an updated ROBINS-I tool, described in the following documents.

• The revised ROBINS-I tool with brief guidance.

• A template for completing the revised ROBINS-I tool.

We will apply the tool to the following non-randomized study.

• Postmenopausal estrogen therapy and cardiovascular disease: ten-year follow-up from the Nurses' Health Study (Stampfer et al, NEJM 1991).
